Each piece shown is INDIVIDUALLY sculpted using polymer clays. No two are ever exactly alike. Clothing and accessories will be identical to what is shown but because each is uniquely handcrafted, each piece takes on it own unique personality. The result is a uniquely crafted ONE at a TIME…ONE of a KIND piece of ART. Most of the Santa pieces have a full body armature made from wire and cloth. Many are posed and each individualized with its own unique accessory. All clothing has been permanently attached to the body by either hand sewing or use of fabric glues. Clothing has been designed with a "theme" in mind (ie: Motorcycle Santa, Nutcracker Santa etc.) Quality fabrics have been used for Santa's clothing and natural fibers and wools are used for Santa's hair. In the "Whimsy" section you will find pieces that all use polymer clay, wood and/or fabric. Many are uniquely designed wood pieces that incorporate clay, fabric, clocks and music boxes. They are all whimsical, functional and are painted with contemporary colors that compliment most home décor. This style of my work has been described by others as "serious whimsicality," a blending of traditional art/craft techniques with a whimsical quality.
